This Sunday's episode of Harvest Home was superb. The companionship and dedication of the inhabitants of LarkRise and Candleford was inspiring. The photography was like a painting, perfectly set and perfectly reproduced with the actors working in unison. A lesson to us all. Congratulations to the production team and all the crew. Magnificent. Thank you for an episode I shall long remember. E/J. Kent

I think James Delafield is the most suitable man for dorcas.Sir Timothy was too conservative to do anything for her except bringing the pain.

Yes i agree i liked the school teacher James Delafield he was drop dead gorgeous. Bring Lady Adelaide back she was nice andafter all Dorcas could have married Sir Timothy & chose otherwise it is her own fault. He is now a married man 7 the times depicted is the 19th century not the 21st. I enjoyed this series too and watched it twice on dvd.

I'm so excited they are creating another series. I just bought the first series on dvd and enjoyed it so much.
I hope all the characters remain and bring back the schoolmaster. Sir Timothy made his bed, let Dorcas have the gorgeous teacher.

What fantastic news - a second series. I actually felt like I was a part of the scene, which is amazing, particularly since here, deep in the Australian Bush, it is a world and a couple of centuries away. I can hardly wait for the new series so I can buy the dvd. I loved the strength that held the village together demonstrated by Robert & Emma Timmins.
