Show is fantastic, I will cry when it ends. I love the characters, it done in such detail, I love the way they made the cloth for a curtain in the bedroom, well I just love the show. Best thing on TV.

I dont think I can wait until 2009 to know what will happen. I just liked sooooo much the young teacher that falls for Dorcas. I wish they get the character back for the next season. He was perfect for Dorcas…specially now that Timothy is gone…

larkrise to candleford was amazing! i have ordered the book to see if it gives the same spark! my sunday nights where incredible with the programme on…. now its just not the same:( i loved every second of the programme and cried with happeniess that there is going to be a second series!! i want sir timothy back though coz dorcas and him had some chemistry that shouldnt have been left apart! i say when two people are ment to be together nothing should keep them apart! sir timothys wife i could ave screamed at the tv telling her to leave timothy alone with dorcas ! i cried when he told her he was leaving her! well actually i cried all the way through it! especially when sir timothy couldnt help himself when he was hugging dorcas! does anyone no the cast in the second series! if sir timothy is back i will woop for joy and cry out loud and if dorcas and him end together i will sing like mad and cry at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please keep me posted on what will happen !!! thanks!!

Doubt Sir Timothy will be in the next series…..hasn’t he moved to London? I kinda wish Dorcas had gone travelling, might have added some spice. But what about poor Zillah? I nearly cried………..

I absolutely loved it – I really think the BBC can’t be beaten when it comes to costume dramas. The quality of the production, the great cast, scenery, all wonderful.

And it’s official – a second series has been commissioned, there is a press release on the BBC’s own website.

I did hear that the second series had been given the go ahead by the BBC. I do hope thats true but I can’t be sure. I absolotly loved the last epsoide, it was so touching! Sunday evenings just won’t be the same any more….

What a great great series I looked forward to every episode the acting was very good and Julia should be up for an award what a successful comeback to TV for her, having to wait two weeks for a conclusion was very bad of the BBC , big corporations over riding folks wishes. Robert Timmins would have something to say about that. shall miss all the charactors lets hope there is more of the same in the pipeline.
