In response 26 and 28, i cant remember what happened to Caroline’s husband, but i do know that Caroline could carted off to prison ( literally by the way), due to having some debts which she has to work off. Hope that helps!

FranL – me too. I’ve just watched 3/3 – where Caroline’s baby is smuggled out of the prison and back to Larkrise. I watched series 2, but my memory is blank as to how she ended up alone and then in prison after her husband had vowed to leave the sea and live with his family. Please can someone help fill in this memory gap?

I have watched all the episodes (I think) but I am puzzled to what happened to Caroline Arless. She had her baby and her husband came home during the celebrations for Zela’s birthday, then what? Can anybody help me fill this void in my memory? Pleeeeeaaaaaase.

13 episodes apparently fror Series 3 – filming started in June. Series 3 will air in Jan 2010 on BBC.

Just found your site after checking on BBC website for more Lark Rise – we have just seen the final episode of series two (Miss Margaret and Thomas’s Wedding). What a delightful series this was, and we here down under in New Zealand hope that BBC is planning to make another series – immediately! The characters are charming, the scenery delicious and best of all, it never seems to rain! More please – there’s heaps of unfinished business to continue a storyline. Dorcas is our favourite, Thomas a close second but the wee boy Sydney may steal all hearts yet.
