It's a funny scene when he is showing Minnie how she should care for Dorcas & his plot to pay her a little extra to do so. I still think it should have gotten out that he was behind all the special care she was receiving, and the little flowers on her tray each day. Dorcas truly thought Minnie was a good little nursemaid. Julia did a great job of truly sounding sick w/the cough, etc. esp. when she drank that stuff Mrs. Brown gave her. I think my fav. part was the scene on the stairs w/James & Dorcas :) He does have his good moments but too bad they are few & far between.... I love the way that all the way through this episode in particular, James Dowland looked at Dorcas with such adoration in his eyes - it makes me melt! I thought that this episode was really rather funny as well - with Minnie, and all the other little stories that were strewn in, as Laura & Thomas were left in charge of the Post Office!
