I have heard on the grapevine that they plan to shoot a third series in April, but I haven’t seen this anywhere official yet.

Does anyone know for sure, or have even tastier tittle tattle?

This is all I can find:
Third Series — filming begins in April 2009 (according to Bill Gallagher, the Executive Producer)
from: http://www.johnowensmith.co.uk/flora/
But I don’t know what connections with Bill Gallagher they have… Hopefully they are the best of friends.

There is a video from the GMTV talk show with Olivia Hallinan and John Dagleish ( aired 12.02.09) on youtube here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRpOHKY28gs

They don’t really say that there will be a third series but listening to the interview I get a positive feeling that there will be, since they are talking about the great success of the show

I googled away to find some news, but the Flora Thompson home page seems to be the only place were they mention the filming start for the 3rd series.

I keep my fingers crossed

Here is the link to the official BBC Lark Rise To Candleford website, perhaps they will mention some thing on there in the near future?

Great site, well worth a look.

I’d be really surprised if there wasn’t a 3rd series. It’s recieved such a great response – lots of nice comments on BBC POV website, plus it is ideal Sunday Night viewing. I cann’t stand the Ice Dancing programme or that drama set in Africa on the other side.

GREAT NEWS, IN A 6 MINUTE INTERVIEW ON THE DAILYMOTION SITE YOU CAN SEE OLIVIA HALLINAN AND BILL GALLAGHER, AND BILL IS SAYING HOW HE HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED TO WRITE 12 MORE EPISODES BY THE BBC TO MAKE THE THIRD SERIES AND IT SEEMS VERY POSITIVE. {=0}
